Group protests Sununu in Concord

A group, Americans Against Escalation in Iraq, will hold their second press conference in two weeks on the issue of putting additional troops in Iraq. Their press conference today will take place in Concord. Last week it was in Manchester and received scant coverage besides an Associated Press write up.

In addition, they have a television ad running locally on WMUR-TV and CNN.

Sununu becomes target of DSCC

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee has sent out three press releases targeting Senator Sununu around the time of the Iraqi War Resolution vote.

Hirshberg sets date to make up mind

The Concord Monitor reports Stoneyfield Yogart CEO Gary Hirshberg, a Democrat, has set deadline of March 5 for a decision to run for the Senate or not.
